LAUNCHcast music videos service worked in a similar manner to that of the audio service. It allowed users to create personal radio stations or playlists of songs tailored to their musical tastes. Internet visitors to LAUNCHcast could sort songs through such interface tools as genre, album title, song title and artist name. People could build entire playlists of favorite songs or even favored radio stations. The LAUNCHcast software sorted songs according to user suggestions, artist, album or genre.
The Yahoo! Music Radio is still programming the stations which were there earlier. Additionally now a variety of music, sports, news and talk programming from CBS Radio's station line-up can be chosen. Yahoo music videos are also available with personalized station based on individual's rating.
