Katy Perry’s new video: E.T
Katy Perry can boast that she entered in the history of Billboard Top 100 after her new single "ET" became the fourth song from the album Teenage Dream to reach the first position of the billboard. However the video seems to have less successful than "Firework". The curiosity of Katy's fans and not only offers a substantial number of hits for this video, but unfortunately also a negative feedback.
Yet, the statistics are on young Katy's side: she was the first singer who succeeded to have four singles on the same album on first place in the Billboard Hot 100 since Mariah Carey, who has managed to do this with her debut album in 1990 and 1991. "Teenage Dream" is only the ninth album in Billboard history to include all four Number One singles.
The video is a bit weird and Katy Perry is hidden somewhere behind a powerful mask that transforms her into an avatar / alien / any other creature that comes to mind. The first scene in the clip will definitely reminiscent of one of the most popular animations from last year, "Wall-E". Enjoy.
